Slow Food Snail of Approval

Thanks to the good folks at Slow Foods for awarding Colonie with the Snail of Approval! In order to help guide New Yorkers and visitors to food that is good, clean and fair, Slow Food NYC awards the Snail of Approval to restaurants who contribute to the quality, authenticity and sustainability of the food we eat and the beverages we drink in the City of New York. We are thrilled to be doing our part!

Gracie Mansion Benefit

We are thrilled to be participating in the annual benefit for the Gracie Mansion Conservancy on February 29th. Chef Brad McDonald will be joining such notable chefs as ABC Kitchen's Dan Kluger, The Red Rooster's Marcus Samuelsson and John Dory's April Bloomfield to help raise money for the continued preservation and programming at this historic landmark. Big thanks to the lovely staff at Gracie Mansion and to Mayor Michael Bloomberg for inviting us to cook for you!

Colonie Chef Brad McDonald is proudly one of six NYC chefs selected to participate in the 'Chefs For Impact' charity event at The Mondrian Hotel Soho on Sunday November 6th.
